It's been several months since the Fall of Beacon, and the world of Remnant is still recovering.

Tensions are high, lives have been lost, and the members of Team RWBY... are divided.

Each of our heroines now faces a journey of their own.

While some must search inward if they ever hope to move on, others will venture out into the world in search of answers.

Alongside the remaining members of Team JNPR, Ruby Rose has begun the long trek to the kingdom of Mistral, but the road ahead is full of surprises.

New friends and enemies await, while the threat of an even larger catastrophe draws near.

第1話 The Next Step

Weiss 在慈善音樂會上表演，但仍批評所有與會者和嘉賓對信標的膚淺和輕蔑態度。在晚會上，她聽到一名女嘉賓嘲笑信標的隕落，Weiss 非常憤怒，無意中召喚了一隻野豬巴塔斯克。在寒風（Mistral），RNJR 團隊遇到了一個名為斑百合的廢棄小鎮。在她們離開小鎮之前，特里安突然伏擊了他們，打鬥的過程中特里安的身份被揭露出來—弗納人。特里安輕而易舉地制服了她們，然而關鍵時刻，克羅挺身而出，及時制止了特里安。

第7話 Punished

奧茲平告訴奧斯卡，他們的靈魂和靈氣已經融合，他們可以訪問彼此的記憶。雖然奧斯卡不願意接受這一點，但奧茲平敦促他去寒風（Mistral）執行一項重要任務。在擎天，Weiss 被指責損害了雪倪家族的聲譽，結果被關在房間裡，剝奪了繼承權。在斑百合鎮，儘管克羅警告她們退後，但 Ruby 一行人還是加入了戰鬥。打鬥中特里安用毒刺擦傷了克羅，同時 Ruby 也切斷了毒刺，迫使特里安撤退。

第8話 A Much Needed Talk

Yang 和 Weiss 完成訓練並準備前往寒風（Mistral）。與此同時，Blake 和 Sun 發現 Blake 的老熟人伊莉亞現在是白牙隊成員。與此同時，RNJR 隊被迫在兩條路之間做出選擇。Ren 和 Nora 決定走山路，而 Ruby 和 Jaune 則揹著克羅穿過黑百合鎮。

第10話 Kuroyuri

Ren 和 Nora 的過去透過一段倒敘被揭示出來：幾年前，黑百合鎮遭到了戮獸的襲擊，而襲擊者是 Nuckelavee，Ren 的父母被殺。當 Ren 察覺到 Nora 身處險境時，他的外向力突然被啟用，這股力量隱匿了他們的氣息，還巧妙地在戮獸面前隱匿了他們的蹤跡。現在，Ren 和 Nora 意識到 Nuckelavee 正朝著 Ruby、Jaune 和克羅走去。

馨德繼續修煉，特里安發狂。Weiss 試圖逃跑，Blake 決心奪回屬於她的一切，而 Ren 看到了過去的噩夢。

第12話 No Safe Haven

當 Jaune 將克羅轉移到安全地帶時，Ren 開始不顧一切地與 Nuckelavee 搏鬥，直到 Nora 讓他平靜下來。RNJR 團隊隨後制定了一項協作策略，Ren 成功處決了戮獸。兩艘巡邏軍用飛艇發現了黑百合鎮冒著黑煙並趕了過去，隨後巡邏軍將 RNJR 團隊帶到寒風市。Ruby 和她的團隊計劃在克羅的傷勢完全痊癒後去避風學院拜訪列奧納多。他們不知道的是，他正在為 Watts 工作。在片尾場景中，奧斯卡在酒吧裡接近克羅，並表明自己是奧茲平。克羅歸還了他的手杖。
